Aidan's Story

Aidan started at a mainstream middle school but only remained for one term.  He stopped attending due to his anxiety induced by the school environment and was out of education for two years. Aidan joined Aurora in February 2018 and stayed with us until July 2023 at the end of year 11. He has excelled since being at Aurora Hanley School and has achieved the following qualifications;

• Art & Design GCSE – Grade 6 
• BTEC Home Cooking Skills Level 2 award Level 2 Pass 
• BTEC Information and Creative Technology Merit at Level 2 
• English Language GCSE – Grade 7 
• Photography GCSE – Grade 6 
• Higher Mathematics IGCSE – Grade 6 
• BTEC first award in principles of applied science – Level 2 Merit
