Leading the team at Fairway is Julie Sadler, an experienced headteacher who has worked in mainstream, alternative and special education for 35 years. She has worked in a number of schools that have needed rapid improvement, and is immensely proud of the staff and students that have then been on the trajectory to great success. She introduced a Quality Mark for schools in Mental Health in 2018, and is firm believer that if you want people to accomplish great things, you must first show them that you truly care.
Fairway is an 11-16 secondary school for students with SEMH and ASC. Julie knows it is a great privilege to be part of a school from its conception, and is hugely excited to be part of a new school. The school has been converted from a golf pavilion in St Ives Cambridge, and the vision of ‘Driving Futures Together’ has links to the game and to ensure everyone works hard as a team to inspire and ensure our students achieve great things.
