We believe that every child should have access to a healthy, nourishing meal each day. A balanced diet supports wellbeing, concentration, emotional regulation, and readiness to learn and we take pride in providing this as part of our daily care for students. Our meals are freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen, ensuring high quality ingredients, warm food, and a welcoming lunchtime experience. We aim to make mealtimes calm, positive, and inclusive, helping students build routines and enjoy eating together in a supportive environment.

Uniform

At Peartree School, we believe that a simple, consistent uniform helps create a sense of belonging, identity, and pride within our school community. It supports students by reducing decision making, promoting equality, and helping everyone feel part of a shared, welcoming environment. Our uniform is comfortable, practical, and designed to meet the needs of our learners:

• Navy blue jumper or sweatshirt featuring the Peartree School logo
• White/Navy Polo shirt featuring the Peartree School logo
• Black trousers/joggers/shorts/knee length skirt
• Black shoes/trainers 

School transport

School transport arrangements for students attending Peartree School are coordinated directly by the Local Authority responsible for the placement. Once a child’s place has been confirmed, the local authority will provide families with full details of transport through their SEN transport link.

Transport arrangements typically include pick up and drop off times, designated drivers or escorts where required, and information about routes and procedures. Our aim is to work closely with transport providers to ensure that every student’s journey to and from school is safe, calm, and consistent.
