Our School
Whilst we are registered to support learners aged 5 to 19, our school is currently a provision for students aged 11 to 16 (Years 7 to 11). We offer many of the subjects that a mainstream secondary does but our delivery accounts for the needs of our neurodivergent young people.
Our Approach
Our approach to learning begins with an environment that gives safety and opportunities for students to be able to emotionally regulate. We look to give students intrinsic motivation for their studies and utilise their special interests to engage in school. Students are given agency within our school systems.
Our Mission
Our mission at Aurora Vincent House School is to prepare our students for life beyond school and support their transformation into independent young adults. Therefore, we aim to offer a range of academic and vocational qualifications, apprenticeships, and employability programmes, ensuring that by the time our students leave, they are equipped with the skills, experience, and opportunities they need to succeed in further education, training, or employment.
