Welcome to our school

Aurora Charnwood School’s Coalville site is a specialist setting, offering personalised academic and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 5 to 19 in a calm, nurturing environment.

We specialise in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those who may have experienced time away from formal education or who have an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Our skilled and experienced team works alongside each pupil to build confidence, develop resilience and support them to achieve their full potential. We recognise that every young person is different, and we focus on understanding their individual strengths, interests and needs.
