Our Facilities

Aurora Charnwood School is located in North Leicestershire, and operates across three sites in Coalville (opening soon), Hinckley and Nanpantan. Designed to support children and young people who may find larger mainstream environments do not meet their needs as effectively, our three sites offer a unique opportunity for children and young people to flourish in calm, low-arousal learning environments.

Our facilities will include:

• Specialist learning spaces for art, design technology and science
• A teaching kitchen with individual workstations for food technology
• Indoor and outdoor quiet spaces to support self-regulation and wellbeing
• Outdoor learning environments
• Sports facilities, including a multi-use games area (MUGA) and secure playing field
• Safe and accessible playground spaces
• A modern on-site kitchen providing healthy meals each day
