Following on form the internal heats, FutureChef finalists from Aurora Foxes, Boveridge College and Hedgeway attended the first ever Aurora FutureChef Grand Final on 23 February at the Grove Kitchen and Restaurant at Weston College, Weston-super-Mare.
Foxes, Boveridge College and Hedgeway held their in-house FutureChefs competitions recently to decide which student chefs will be going forward to the final competition which will be held at Weston College, Weston-super-Mare, on 23 February.
Springboard FutureChef is a national schools-based competition designed to kick start culinary careers.
Aurora Hedgeway School has received a positive Ofsted report with the pupils describing it as a ‘sanctuary’. Aurora Hedgeway, whose pupils have complex communication needs typically associated with autism, was praised for its effective leadership and the promotion of pupils’ personal development.
