Based on a small site near Horley in Surrey, Aurora Redehall provides all the essential resources on a smaller scale that is better suited to our pupils’ needs.
Learning at Aurora Redehall isn’t just about the classroom – our pupils’ experience is extended to the local community and surrounding areas. We are part of a small village with local shops that we can access as part of our life skills curriculum, allowing pupils to practise in a safe, supported environment. Pupils also have access to an on-site kitchen and a range of off-site sports facilities.
We take advantage of local amenities such as the leisure centre and swimming pool, while our local green spaces are used for outdoor study and Forest School, alongside occasional trips to the Surrey Hills and West Sussex Coast. We have a bus stop right outside the school to facilitate travel training, and we work closely with families to facilitate access to these same local amenities at weekends.
