Pumpkin fun and fantastic scarecrows!

Students, families and staff at Aurora Wilden View School in Kidderminster enjoyed a fantastic day of autumn fun at their very first Scarecrow Festival.

The rain held off, and smiles were out in full force as each class showcased their creativity by designing their own scarecrow - with brilliant creations inspired by Spider-Man, the characters from Up, Super Mario, Wednesday and Thing, and The Lorax, to name just a few. Pupils also decorated pumpkins and set up fun games around the school for everyone to enjoy.

The chocolate bouquet raffle proved to be a big hit, while hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and mini marshmallows kept everyone cosy and warm throughout the day. Sweet treats such as carrot cupcakes and cinnamon shortbread biscuits were also a favourite - disappearing in no time!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
