Macmillan Coffee Morning at Aurora Keyes Barn School

In September, we invited the wonderful parents and carers of Aurora Keyes Barn School to join the equally wonderful students to enjoy our Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The children used their literacy and numeracy skills to develop recipes and bake delicious cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy.
We also received lots of lovely bakes from parents, carers and staff too, so we were well and truly stocked up!
Our school receptionist, Miss Clark, decorated our Willow room to turn it into a welcoming and cosy environment for our parents and carers to spend time chatting with each other and catching up with school staff.
It was a lovely morning where everyone enjoyed a posh coffee and cake. Everyone took some home, and our pupils on Transport took tubs for their Taxi drivers and escorts.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, we raised £139.70 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a UK charity dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer. Through expert advice, compassionate care and practical help, Macmillan ensures no one has to face cancer alone.
