“Teachers make lessons fun and engaging. Students are therefore enthusiastic about their learning. Teachers ensure that each student knows what they need to do to achieve their challenging goals. Students develop communication, work-related and behaviour management skills very effectively.”
The college caters for students aged between 16 and 25 who may have a diagnosis of Autism, anxiety, social and emotional or mental health needs.
Remarking on the rating, Aurora Boveridge College Interim Principal Lloyd Richards said: “Aurora Boveridge College has achieved the most positive feedback and highest ratings of all providers inspected by Ofsted since this programme of monitoring visits began. It is a testament to how well our students, their families and the staff work together towards common goals.
“Specifically inspectors judged our leaders and managers to be performing exceptionally well having made ‘Significant progress’ across the themes that were the focus of the visit.
“We are rightly proud of our students who enthusiastically embrace learning and development opportunities and work hard to fulfil their potential.“
