Training for team members who work in Education settings

We are able to offer qualifications and a career pathway from the start of a career in Education through to becoming a Head Teacher of your own school.

The starting point for most is working as a Teaching Assistant. To support this, we offer ‘Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3’. This qualification is awarded to learners who complete our bespoke course, which is delivered by our in-house trainer and provides an excellent foundation for all types of education support careers.

After completing Level 3 training, learners who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching can undertake a ‘Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship’ L5. Those who complete this apprenticeship and who have the necessary professional experience will be able to apply for Qualified Teacher Status.

Once a qualified teacher we offer National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) to develop into School Leaders and Heads. All our programmes are funded (no student Loans), they are all work based (no attending college) and you are building experience all the time with us (no unpaid work placements).

Training for team members who work in Care settings

Whether you are working with Children or Adults in one of our care settings, we will support your career from the start to Care Manager. This includes L3 Children’s Residential support work qualification or L3 Adult Care Qualifications, through to L5 Leadership and Management in Care qualifications. All our programmes are fully funded and delivered by experts.

Want to develop a speciality?

Dew to the nature of the learners on our sites many of our teams work very closely with clinical speciality teams such as Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) or Occupational Therapists (OT’s).

We can offer qualifications at both L3 and Foundation degree L5 in a range of highly specialised fields. These provide the perfect stepping stone before starting a Clinical Practitioner's University qualification.

We currently offer over 20 different Apprenticeships including Human Resources, Finance, Building Services, Play Therapy and Post Grad Business degrees so if a qualification is important to you, come and talk to us!

In addition to our formal qualifications, we also provide loads of access to learning and development opportunities. These might include training to support the learners' needs you will be working with or accessing our huge range of digital content that could be up on everything from basic IT skills to helping students cope with bereavement. All these courses are available anytime, from any device, allowing you to learn and develop at your own pace.

As you can see at Aurora, Learning and Development is important to us, so if we can help you achieve your career ambitions, please talk to us and let see if we can help.
